At PTL Insurance Brokers, our commitment is first and foremost to our clients. Our full-time staff of 16 provide the best service and prices because we have access to so many options, and we care about finding the best solution to fit your needs. When you work with us, you get access to one-stop shopping on all your insurance needs.
The agency was established in 1976 by Richard Pedevill. After more than 40 years in the Covina, California area, our roots go deep. We’re in a unique position to truly understand the needs of the Covina community and the people who live and work here. We understand the great beauty of our part of California and the very real risks.
PTL Insurance Brokers is second-generation family business. Richard’s three sons, Brandon, Bryon, and Anthony, have joined him in the insurance business over the years. They’re taking everything he taught them and adding their own special touch. The family closeness extends beyond the immediate family to staff, clients, and the community. PTL Insurance Brokers is a San Gabriel Valley institution, and we’re actively involved in multiple community organizations including the Citrus Valley Schools and several local churches. We are grateful to be able to give back to the community that has given us so much.
Through the acquisition of smaller agencies and client referrals over the years, we have grown to service more than 3,500 clients, while not losing sight of our real objective: The continued dedication to building strong relationships with our clients and protecting their needs. PTL Insurance Brokers has invested substantially to keep innovating, and to bring significant value to our clients through services that are rarely offered by other insurance brokers.
Rick Pedevill, principal at PTL Insurance Brokers states, ”We’re not satisfied with business as usual. If all a broker has to offer is a good price, then they’re really no different than 100’s of other competing brokers out there. The fact is that most brokers today can reach almost any carrier, and get you a ‘competitive’ price. We think employers deserve better. Our clients stay with us because of the unique value and services we provide. They recognize that typical insurance brokers don’t do the things we do.”
Brandon Pedevill adds, ”Employers don’t select their attorneys by price. They don’t choose a CPA based on who charges the lowest hourly rate. Why? Because they recognize that these are business-critical professional services, and the truth of the matter is that there isn’t that much price difference anyway. Insurance broker selection should be handled the same way. The truth is we can all come in about the same price, so selection should be made by evaluating what additional services a broker provides.”
